Your first days in class may go more smoothly with a small amount of preparation. The Tutorial Center works closely with the Automotive and Welding programs to make sure you have the tutoring support you need.

The Las Positas College Tutorial Center also provides free drop-in tutoring for subjects you’re enrolled in. Both trained student tutors and instructors provide the tutoring. Check the drop-in tutoring hours to find out when tutoring is available for the subjects you’re taking. If the automotive and welding classes you’re taking are not listed, the Tutorial Center staff will work with your instructor to find a tutor with the proper skills to help you.
